Full-time Master’s Programs
Undergraduate program – leading to a bachelor’s or engineer’s degree, open to secondary school graduates who have passed high-school leaving exam
Master’s program – leading to a master’s degree, open to those holding a bachelor’s degree
Doctoral program – leading to a doctoral degree, open to those holding a master’s degree or equivalent
Students holding a bachelor’s or master’s degree may enroll in extension /continuing education programs

Environmental protection
Three-year full-time programme completed with granting B.Sc. degree.
Programme curriculum includes issues within chemistry, biology science, earth science as well as law and humanities. Students become familiar with basic physical, chemical, geological and ecological processes shaping the natural environment. They also learn about methods of early detecting, preventing and reversing degradation processes related with chemisation of modern live and human activities. Social, economic and legal courses prepare students to undertake specific actions within sociology.
Undergraduates are awarded with B.Sc. degree and may continue their education on environmental protection M.Sc. graduate (second-cycle) programme at UMCS, specialty: Environmental chemistry (Faculty of Chemistry).
The aim of the programme is to prepare students to work in general environmental protection institutions: environmental monitoring laboratories and terminals, planning offices and environmental protection enterprises, national parks as well as state and local government administration bodies.
