History and Diplomatic Studies

(a full-time, first-cycle studies)
The main premise for this course is to prepare the graduates for further education with the aim of working in the field of broadly-understood diplomacy. The curriculum covers classes in history, international law, and social and international relations. Core subjects include the history of Polish diplomacy, the basics of modern diplomacy, diplomacy and political history of the world, Poland and modern world. The curriculum also includes two modern foreign language courses (English and a selected Western-European language).

  • The course is targeted especially at people interested in how modern Polish diplomacy works in various geo-political and cultural conditions. The curriculum provides professional skills useful in work in various diplomacy-related public life areas.
  •  The graduates will have gained competences that will facilitate employment in the Polish diplomatic service, local government and non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
