Journalism and Social Communication

The program in Journalism prepares students for work in news departments of mass media and press agencies; internet services providers; art, advertising, public relations, and promotional agencies; production companies; units for dissemination of information and culture; and public institutions and organizations responsible for contacts with media.

Competences acquired during the study:

  • scenario writing, shooting and assembling film material and radio
  • journalistic rhetoric, writing techniques, editing and preparing text for printing
  • creation advertising strategy and public relations, image of people and organizations
