The knowledge and skills acquired during the studies will allow graduates to work as teachers of German (only for those choosing the teaching specialization), translators and interpreters, and assistants in international corporations as well as in publishing and media and services requiring proficiency in German (e.g. tourism).

Full-time undergraduate and graduate programme
Specialisation:

• specialized languages: preparing for work as translator with professional vocabulary in such fields as law, business and economics, mathematics and natural sciences and computer science, science and technology, tourism and hospitality;
• teaching: gives ministerial entitlement to teach German in school at all levels of education: primary school (bachelor degree), middle school and high school (secondary studies). Also helps to work in language schools.

Competences acquired during study:

• German language teaching
• conducting independent research on the literature and culture of German-speaking countries
• translating specialized and literary texts
