The program in French provides a unique opportunity to learn about the language, literature, and culture of France and other Romance-language countries. During the studies, students become familiar with the discourses of contemporary humanities and master the skills necessary to translate texts and teach the language as well as to work in various cultural institutions. The program’s graduates are proficient in written and spoken French and can comfortably use another Romance language. They also possess extensive knowledge of the literature, culture, and civilization of the French-speaking countries.

Competencies acquired during study:

• fluency in two Romance languages (French and Spanish or Italian) for the purposes of general and specialist communication
• performing professional activities in the international labor market, especially cooperation with economic entities in the Roman language area
• learning two selected  Romance languages
