Career counseling and personal counseling
3-year undergraduate studies at the Institute of Sociology of Catholic University of Lublin (full-time)
They reflect the contemporary trends in the science and practice of Career Counseling and Personal Counseling.They are based on the European Career Guidance and Human Resource Management program. Are compliant with ECTS (European Community Credit Transfer System)
Studies in the field of Career Counseling and Personal Counseling are aimed to people interested in working in labor market institutions and in organizations and business entities providing HR services. Consequently, the studies are interdisciplinary within the social sciences. They integrate knowledge, skills and competences in the fields of sociology, psychology, management science, economics and elements of national and international law. The aim of these studies is to provide professional theoretical knowledge, practical skills and social competencies to solve the problems of choosing career paths and developing oneself in a lifelong perspective.
Graduates will gain the necessary skills for career counseling and personal counseling, diagnosis and risk assessment, trainings for future counseling, demographic counseling, career development, organizational change, job search and retraining advice, employment law at national and European level and transnational career counseling and personnel counseling.
The study program focuses on current innovations in education and professional development career counselors and personal development supervisors.
Studies prepare for:
- Professional work in government and local government institutions, both at national and international level (EU institutions, international organizations),
- work in public and private companies in the area of human resources management.
Work in the competition:

- an individual tutor of a learner, working, unemployed and retired in public employment services,

The bachelor's degree in career counseling and personal counseling entitles you to:
