The University of Life Sciences in Lublin is a modern institution of higher education with a distinct life-sciences and technical profile. Its traditions date back to 1944 since when it has been a key player in its educational sector. To date, over 50,000 students have graduated from the institution. The university comprises 7 faculties offering 25 programs and 51 specializations. It also offers doctoral programs, postgraduate courses, and extended education. 

Its highly-qualified and student-friendly academic staff, cutting-edge facilities and laboratories, and modern instruction methods are a guarantee of top-quality education. 

The university lays particular emphasis on practical skills and knowledge, operating both curricular and extracurricular internships. Students can also participate in international exchange programs and internships in the United States, the Netherlands, and Great Britain.

As one of very few Polish institutions of higher education, the University of Life Sciences in Lublin has obtained the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management Certificate. University facilities are provided with suitable access for the disabled (elevators, ramps). Students can also use the modern Sports and Recreation Center with a swimming pool, a climbing wall, a gym, aerobics room, and a martial arts room.
