Nutrition

Nutrition is the science of researching food products and the planning, supervision, and application of rational nutrition. Nutrition specialists investigate the origin of foodstuffs and the processes of food preparation; they also develop nutrition strategies tailored to the health and age of individuals.

Studies give you the opportunity to gain knowledge in the field of human nutrition policy, planning and preparing meals included in the various diets, evaluation and control of nutritional value and food quality, nutrition organizing individual, collective and medicinal rational planning of nutrition, disease prevention, nutritionally-dependent and running nutrition education. A graduate will be prepared to conduct research in the field of nutrition and food quality control, the conditions for its storage and food production. Learn the basics of marketing, food law and law and economics in health care.

Examples of subjects: human anatomy, psychology, safety and ergonomics, work organization, general biochemistry and food, human physiology, qualified first aid, basics of human nutrition

During the study students will be able to:

  • participate in field work and practical exercises
  • traineeships at home and abroad
  • independently conduct studies during the preparation of master's theses
  • obtain support of the Student Career Office
  • develop their interest in scientific circles
  • improve their knowledge of a foreign language
  • a number of research groups and student organizations in which you can develop your interests
