Various anthropological and natural pressures are the reason for a multi-faceted degradation and devastation of environment which results in the need for taking repair actions. Their effects arise from the versatile knowledge of natural environment together with applying appropriate engineering methods. Education in this field is ideally realised by the Faculty of  Environmental Engineering.

Environmental Engineering is a modern faculty of natural and technical character preparing its graduates for applying engineering actions in the process of environment shaping and protection. The faculty offers education within the major field of study on the 1st cycle 3.5 years full-time and 4-year extramural studies ending with the degree of engineer.

Starting with the 2011/2012 academic year the university offers 2nd cycle full-time Master’s studies and from 2012/2013 year 2nd cycle extramural Master’s studies.
Subjects required in the recruitment procedure are: foreign language together with one  subject optionally chosen from the following: Biology, Mathematics, Chemistry, Information Technology, Geography, Physics and Astronomy, Social Studies.
