Food safety is among the top concerns for consumers who expect the purchased products to be safe. Knowledge acquired at the University allows Food Safety graduates for substantive supervision and control of the successive stages in food production, it enables food quality evaluation, and it allows to identify possible risks at each production stage, which may affect required food safety standards and criteria. Food Safety graduate shall be able to take the necessary measures to ensure that either all the risks are eliminated or that they are reduced to the acceptable quality level in agreement with the appropriate regulations.
As a part of the program, there is a possibility to obtain the certificate of Quality Management Assistant recognized in the European Union. The University has signed the cooperation agreement with the Polish Centre for Testing and Certification, where the exam takes place.
