Administration

Studies at “administration” programme provide a fully comprehensive academic course, from bachelor’s level to a master’s level. The specialities available within undergraduate programme in “administration” are as follows:  Economy Administration, European Administration, Public Administration, Public Security Administration.

Graduates are entitled to continue education on graduate level, which is now available in the speciality areas: Public Administration and Public Security Administration.

The teaching programme meets all requirements of program minimum for “ “administration” stipulated by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. The objective of the studies is to prepare a graduate to work in self-governmental, governmental administration and administration entities controlled by local self-government, public healthcare centres, school and customs administration. The programme prepares students to work in present conditions of the market economy. Students will gain a thorough theoretical knowledge and will acquire practical managerial skills.

Administration programme graduates have extensive and modern legal, sociological and European expertise allowing them to understand the processes related to social and economic changes in Poland, in the environment of globalisation and rapid technological changes. They specialise in sustaining small and medium-sized companies' development, in managing public administration institutions, especially local government institutions, on positions connected with sustaining local and regional development. Their expertise allows them to manage the projects connected with investments of local governments, including programmes financed from external EU resources, and take part in the implementation of strategic changes in the public sector in accordance with the needs of local communities and local job market.
